Auburn crushes Purdue, sets record with 63-14 win in Music City Bowl

Everything went right for Auburn in the first half of the Music City Bowl. Everything went wrong for Purdue. The result was a record-setting first 30 minutes for the Tigers.

Auburn set an NCAA bowl record by with 56 points in the first half and led the Boilermakers 56-7 at intermission.

Ahead 63-14, Auburn moved to the Purdue 1-yard line in the final two minutes with a chance to tie the record for most points in a bowl game set by West Virginia in its 70-33 defeat of Clemson in the 2012 Orange Bowl … but Malzahn decided to take a knee and run the clock out.
